Driven by passion, our Social Good & Issues Practice is dedicated to identifying and delivering relevant programs and strategies that pay it forward for the benefit of communities and stakeholder groups alike. Although the name is new, the foundation we’ve built and the experience we have in this area aren’t. Account Director Houda Elyazgi leads the charge with more than 8 years of experience working with civic enhancement, social engagement and nonprofit groups. Our proven track record and determination to advance our society have made establishing the Social Good & Issues Practice a natural progression.
The idea that organizations should “do good” isn’t anything new, but now more than ever, studies show a crucial part of building up our happiness and self-worth is to feel like we are a part of something bigger than ourselves. Employees, especially millennials, want to know their organization is having a positive impact on the world. Whether it’s through a nonprofit, charitable giving or corporate social responsibility efforts, at Saxum, we believe everyone has a role to play in leaving the world a better place than when we entered it.
Our Social Good & Issues team is determined to use our skill sets to make sure our clients’ efforts are not only achieved, but also recognized by employees and the community. By becoming an extension of our clients’ teams, we share in the joy of helping make a difference in the community through accomplishing goals, providing counsel and support for community relations efforts and helping increase trust within organizations, while building a strong reputation externally.
We believe in the power of giving back and serving our community. Doing both well and sharing the story – that’s where we come in.
