Challenge

ZincFive needed help elevating its brand and sharing its story with prospective clients and investors. They wanted a world-class brand that established them as a market leader and innovator of a new power battery category. At the time, their messaging was technical and lacked emotion, which didn’t articulate the vision they were hoping to achieve.

Insights

Following key customer and market research, Saxum determined the following would have a clear impact on brand direction:

  • Batteries are now seen as a key need for the green transition.
  • The nickel-zinc category is muddled, with no differentiation between brands — giving ZincFive ample opportunity to establish itself as the market leader.
  • Buyers are more invested in the energy transition than ever before.

Solution

To bring this brand to life, we created a new website, launched a paid media campaign and refreshed ZincFive’s corporate narrative materials. In addition, we equipped their team with messaging and internal communications tools to activate and excite internal employees around the elevated brand.
