U.S. of Energy - Case Study - Saxum

WorkU.S. of Energy 1.0

Overview

The United States is one of the world’s largest consumers of energy and recently has enjoyed a renaissance as a leading global energy producer. The country’s energy landscape consists of a wide variety of resources and geographies, each adding to the country’s rich energy mix. Energy is complicated, and the goal of the U.S. of Energy is to help everyone understand energy realities in America.

Building off of the original U.S. of Energy project that explored America’s energy “hot spots”, the U.S. of Energy 2.0 dives deeper, presenting 13 unique regions – and the states that comprise them – along with the geographic linkages, infrastructure networks, energy resources and energy consumption trends that distinguish them. This tool allows users to compare and contrast these key indicators and explore connections among the states and discover the unique role each state plays in telling America’s great energy story.
