Saxum’s first step was conducting a website audit. We investigated the key aspects of the site’s architecture, content structure and writing, user experience and functionality, as well as, branding and design to gain insight into unique problems with the site and provide results of the study.
Following the audit, we provided Toucan with a recommended site content outline to use as a guide for the website and the structure of its pages. We worked closely with the client to determine an optimum structure and to outline any content that would be kept as-is, rewritten, thrown out or developed from scratch.
Next, Saxum began the design phase, bringing the site to life through Toucan’s new color, shape, typography and layout we created as part of their new brand identity. During this process, we also continued organizing and drafting content to be used throughout the site.
Once the designs and content were approved, Saxum began the core development and implementation phase. As we completed the majority of the development and continued populating content, we presented the site to Toucan to go over its functionalities and layout. In June, Saxum launched the new website further completing its new identity.
The new site is dramatically more attractive and user-friendly for potential or reoccurring customers. It’s also consistently used by Toucan’s sales team as they talk to prospective clients to walk them through examples of the services or products Toucan provides.
