Hill & Company partnered with Saxum in 2013 to design a new logo, website and to implement an integrated marketing communications campaign including media relations, direct marketing, digital and traditional advertising. The HVAC company began business in Oklahoma City in 1967 and has since expanded to the Tulsa market. Their logo and brand standards needed an updated look in order to better represent the level of service and professionalism offered by the organization. Hill & Company desired increased exposure in their target markets, while staying true to their business model and always putting customers first.


Saxum began by designing a new logo and complete brand standards for Hill & Company. The new logo is modern, clean and most importantly, sets Hill & Company apart from its competition. Once the logo and brand standards were finalized, Saxum began promoting Hill & Company through digital advertising strategies and media relations. Digital advertising was engineered to locate and attract potential customers where they are making the majority of their purchasing decisions – online. Media relations was used to supplement digital advertising efforts and to keep Hill & Company relevant through an authoritative media voice. To help promote and educate customers on Hill & Company’s yearly maintenance agreement, Smart Service, Saxum designed a three-panel, front and back brochure. This brochure consisted of key message points promoting Smart Service, a coupon for new customers and a reward for referring customers. Additionally, Saxum developed a direct mail piece to promote a discounted tune-up rate to market their new offering and updated branding to existing customers. Saxum also designed and launched a new website for Hill & Company.


Since the partnership began, Hill & Company has received more than 200 new customers. Additionally, 85 percent of Hill & Company’s overall website traffic was driven by new visitors. Hill & Company now has a refreshed brand, collateral pieces and a new website to make a bigger impact on the market and increase their customer share.
