Saxum led efforts to establish a Governor’s Award to honor former House Speaker Kris Steele for his dedication to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma (BBBS) and his support of the Amachi program, which provides mentoring to children of incarcerated parents. Saxum coordinated a news conference with Gov. Mary Fallin at the Oklahoma State Capitol to honor Speaker Steele. In addition to the event at the Capitol, Saxum also handled the development and execution of several collateral materials for BBBS, including brochures, ads and push cards. Saxum also assisted with the development of a social media policy and guidelines.
