PeopleDebbie Schramm

“You confuse not speaking with not listening.”

Gregory Maguire, Wicked

It’s telling that Debbie’s favorite Broadway musical is one where perspective makes all the difference.

How else could one assume the mantle of leadership that Debbie Schramm has exhibited in her career? From serving as chief of staff to the Oklahoma City mayor after the tragedy of the 1995 Murrah Federal Building bombing, to vice president of communications for a $16 billion global energy and chemical corporation, Debbie has compiled an almost unmatched breadth and depth of strategic communication experience.

Debbie oversees all Saxum operations with an emphasis on quality in both account service and deliverables. The key to Debbie’s leadership and client interaction is listening – a vital trait in identifying client needs and creating the right communications strategy. Then, she identifies the right combination of experience and talent within Saxum and oversees the team in providing peerless strategy and creativity.

When Debbie steps away from work to relax and recharge, she enjoys the invigorating sun and tranquil waters of the seaside. She also spends most of her free time in the company of family.
