Saxum CEO Elected to Lead National PR Network

Saxum, a multi-dimensional creative, public relations and marketing firm, today announced that President and CEO Renzi Stone has been elected to a two-year term as IPREX President of The Americas. IPREX is one of the world’s largest public relations networks, representing 68 independent agencies in 30 different countries. Its purpose is to offer public relations excellence to clients, wherever their businesses take them.

“Collaboration is the name of the game,” Stone said. “As the president of IPREX, my goal will be to engage our collective firms in the Americas to grow business and support clients across the globe. Together, we offer a unique perspective of how to engage locally while understanding the global picture.”

Stone was selected as president of the Americas from among the 42 independent partner firms of The Americas network of IPREX. In this role, he will be responsible for partner engagement, new partner outreach and partner collaboration.

Stone has grown Saxum from a one-person start-up in 2003 to a team of 22 full-time professionals with offices in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, Okla. He has been honored multiple times by various local and national organizations and publications as a top businessman and public relations professional under the age of 40.

Stone serves on the board of visitors for the University of Oklahoma Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communications, the executive committee of Allied Arts the board of trustees for the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence, the board of directors for the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce and Ally’s House and on the advisory board for the Meinders School of Business at Oklahoma City University. He is a member of the Oklahoma Race to the Top Commission, helping coordinate and report on the effort of the state to implement the federal Race to the Top program and serves on Gov.-Elect Mary Fallin’s transition team.
